Unable to get Sky installed?
Here are some recent pictures of a satellite dish installation carried out by our engineers. The customer contacted us as she had had Sky out to install a satellite dish for Sky HD but they were unable to do so, so they recommended that she contact an independent installation company to check the viability of an installation. An appointment was made at a mutually convenient time. Upon arrival at the site it was apparent to the engineer that this was going to be a tricky, non-standard installation, the lodge itself was located in a dip surrounded by large trees, it was no wonder Sky had been unable to carry out the installation.

The engineer carried out a thorough inspection of the lodge and no line of sight was available. A bit more investigating and it was discovered that a line of sight was available from a tree away from the lodge and up the hill. The engineer confirmed with the customer that a signal could be received from there and also confirmed the costs in doing so. The installation was carried out and the satellite dish was installed on the tree with the cable running down the banking. The engineer returned to lodge and set up the Sky receiver for the customer, ensuring that everything was working correctly.
Payment choices
Once the customer was happy that the work had been carried out to her satisfaction, the engineer completed the invoice for the work, giving the customer the option of being able to pay by cash or credit/debit card. She elected to pay by card and the transaction was able to be completed onsite, with a full written guarantee. The engineer left the customer happy and satisfied with the work carried out.
These tricky. non-standard installations don’t only work for Sky HD, they are also suitable for Sky Q, Freesat and European satellite installations, so if you have any problems with any of them, give us a ring.
