I am receiving the Wrong Regional News?

In some areas where more than one regional transmitter can be received, the weaker set of stations can appear in the high channel numbers (often in the 800s). This is most likely to happen immediately following a software update or re-install.

Visit the Digital UK website for further information on the following:

However, some receivers may put the channels from the weaker signal in the normal ’low’ numbers with your preferred service in the 800s, causing the wrong regional news programme to appear. This can usually be resolved with a manual retune where you select either the channel numbers or channel frequencies you want to use. Details of how to do this differ from receiver to receiver so you will need to visit the TV re-tune website, this site contains a number of PDF instruction manuals. Alternatively, seek advice from the manufacturer or your dealer. Details of the channel numbers to use can also be found at the same site using their postcode checker tool.

A very small number of receivers require the actual frequencies to be used rather than the channel number.
