Installing 2x new aerials on a sunny day

TV Aerial Repair For 3x Freeview TV

Here is a picture of a recent aerial installation that we carried out. On arrival the customer explained to our engineer that they were having issues with picture break up on 3 TVs. Our engineer looked up at the aerials on the roof he could clearly see that they were very old and in a very poor condition. The next thing he did was to go into the house and do a signal meter check. He found the signal to be poor but all the aerial cable was in the cavity and up to the loft, so the next job was to go into the loft and check all the connections. In the loft was a very old aerial splitter that had water in it from the aerial wire.

The Plan To Fix The Aerial

The engineer advised the customer that the best plan of action was to replace all the equipment on the roof including the brackets aerials and cable. He then ran a new aerial wire into the loft and installed a new screened splitter. Once all this had been completed he then made new coax fly leads to connect from the socket on the wall to the TV. Once that was done another signal reading was taken to ensure that all the Freeview signals were ok and the signal was good enough for all the TVs to work. Having achieved all this the final thing to do was to re-tune the TV to the correct transmitter and check that all the Freeview channels were correct.

Time To Do The Invoice

Once the job was complete to the customers satisfaction the invoice was sorted out, the customer had a choice of payment methods. They opted to pay by debit card which was sorted by the engineer and a written guarantee was left with another happy customer.
