Samsung Frame TV Wall Mount Installation

This case study shows a recent installation of a Samsung Frame TV that we wall mounted for a customer.

The Frame is designed to look like a piece of artwork when it’s not being used as a TV, so the quality of the wall mount and the way the cables are handled is really important. The customer wanted it to sit flat, look neat, and match the décor in the room.

Customer Brief

  • Wall mount a new Samsung Frame TV
  • Set it up with live TV via a Virgin Media box
  • Show the customer how to select an art/picture mode that matched the colour scheme in the room
  • Keep the whole installation tidy so it looked like a picture on the wall, not a TV stuck out on a bracket

Installation

We mounted the Frame TV on the wall using the correct low?profile method so the screen sat close to the wall, just like a picture frame. We connected the TV to the customer’s Virgin Media box so they could watch live TV – this is the image shown on the left. We then set up the TV’s picture/art mode and selected an image that matched the colours and style of the room – this is the image shown on the right.

Because the Frame TV is designed to be seen even when it’s not playing TV, we took care to keep the cabling discreet and the mount straight and level. That way, when the TV switches to art mode, it really does look like a framed print.

Result

  • Samsung Frame TV mounted flat to the wall
  • Live TV working via the Virgin Media box
  • Art mode configured with a picture that matched the room
  • Customer happy with both the look and the setup
