Here is an example of a caravan satellite dish that we installed for Freesat. The van is on a permanent pitch so we fit it onto a patio mount drilled into a paving slab. The reason the customer opted for a dish instead of a TV aerial for Freeview is that like most caravan sites the site is in the middle of nowhere and the Freeview reception would have been very poor, we did take a signal reading first with an aerial and decided that the best way was to have the dish installed. The engineer ran the cable under the caravan and up through the floor into the Humax Freesat box. Once tested and tuned the customer was left with lots of channels to watch.
