Recent TV Aerial Jobs
Here is a selection of pictures of recently completed jobs that include TV aerial installations and TV aerial repairs.
Special Heights Freesat Dish
Here is an example of one of our engineers doing a special heights Freesat dish installation. The customer called us as he had water in the aerial wire that was running from the dish on the roof and had caused damage to the Humax Freesat recorder. The dish was installed on the chimney so roof ladders were needed to get up and inspect the dish, on inspection it was found that a new installation was required to include a dish and a new twin cable, which our engineer completed on that visit leaving the customer with fully functioning Freesat.
A TV Aerial in Lancaster
We were called out to this job after the customer had previously another company out to repair the aerial. When our engineer went up onto the roof he found that the other company had lied to the customer and not done the work that they said they had. We had to do a full new install with quality fixings and mast, a new aerial and a new aerial wire down to the TV. The customer who was elderly had been taken advantage of by a very unscrupulous engineer but when we had finished they were back with full Freeview and a written 3 year guarantee.
A TV Aerial for BT TV
Here is an example of a high gain TV aerial that we installed for BT TV. This was an interesting one as the customer had moved from the Midlands up to Ripon. In Ripon you can receive 2 regions of local TV, they are Tyne Tees or Yorkshire. We asked the customer which was there preference and they said it didn’t matter as they were not local. Our engineer then got out his signal strength meter and took readings from both transmitters. It was found that the Tyne Tees signal was better than the Yorkshire region so the aerial was installed to the correct area.
